THE CHALLENGE

  • Deliver large-scale energy-efficiency savings, over 500 GWhs, for the PECO Smart Equipment Incentives Commercial and Industrial (C&I) program across multiple market segments from projects of various sizes, technologies and solutions

THE SOLUTION

  • Encourage customers to pursue a comprehensive set of energy-efficiency measures for retrofit and new construction projects including but not limited to lighting, HVAC and controls, water heating, compressed air, refrigeration, and process upgrades
  • Develop and engage network of Trade Allies to increase program participation

CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS

  • Coordinate efforts among PECO Marketing, Program and Account Managers as well as the prime contractor, DNV GL

PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION

  • Engaged customers through rigorous direct outreach calls to identify project opportunities
  • Provided outreach and sales training to contractors and consultants
  • Assisted customers and contractors with the application process
  • Promoted incentive-eligible equipment through OEMs and suppliers
  • Planned and coordinated series of association, networking and marketing events for customers and service providers
