Clean Markets is crossing the northern border. With the launch of the new Alberta Residential and Commercial Solar Program website, our work expanding the clean energy economy now spans to Canada.
The Canadian province of Alberta is committed to adding 5,000 megawatts (MW) of renewable energy by 2030 to meet 30 percent of provincial capacity.
To help Alberta homeowners, businesses and non-profits afford the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, the Residential and Commercial Solar Program (RCSP) offers $0.75/watt in financial incentives for qualifying systems.
The site is the second renewable energy program website designed and developed by Clean Markets and InClime Solutions. Clean Markets worked previously with InClime and the Pennsylvania Public Utilities Commission (PUC) to redesign the Pennsylvania Alternative Energy Credit Program website.
Since 2016, Clean Markets has also conducted verification site visits to PennAEPS alternative energy suppliers located across the PJM territory. Demonstrating the company’s combination of technical insights and marketing expertise, Clean Markets developed inspection protocols and evaluates supplier compliance with program protocols. Generation sites that have been inspected include hydroelectric, biomass, solar, landfill gas to energy, waste to energy and wind power generators.
